Delivery Address Command

The delivery address should be no more than seven lines or 300 characters in length. To meet the US postal Service guidelines, your address should also have:

• The City, State and ZIP Code on the last address line unless the address is foreign (non-US). Do not include UNITED STATES or US on the last line.
• The street address or PO Box on the second to last line of your address. If your address includes a suite or apartment number, place those items at the end of this line.

This option causes Dial-A-ZIP run automatically each time you add a new address or edit an existing address.

This command causes Dial-A-ZIP to immediately verify the address and, if successful, add the new address to the Address Book.

The Justification options cause the text for the delivery address to be Left (the default setting), Center, or Right justified (aligned).

If you are using an address block barcode, the address is also aligned with the barcode according to the justification.

You can set the vertical alignment of the delivery address to:

• Top: Sets the top line of each address in the same location at the top.
• Center: Sets the mid-point of each address print in the same location. This is very useful when printing sheet labels.
• Bottom: Sets the last line of each address in the same location.

You can set the automatic centering of the delivery address on envelopes or labels to Center Vertically or Center Horizontally or both.

The Line Spacing setting lets you specify the exact line spacing in points between the lines of the delivery address.

The Fonts command lets you change the font of selected lines in the delivery address. You can specify the Font, Font Style, Size, Effects, and Color of the selected address text line.

• Note: High-speed printing does not support the choices of font, font style, color, or effect.

You can change the font of text by line only—not by individual letter characters within a line.

• Note: A single line of the address can have only one font type.
